Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with minimal accounting experience to gain practical skills and develop their career in a supportive environment. The Junior Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks, providing support to the finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including journal entries
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with other accounting-related projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 0-1 year of relevant accounting experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential) and other accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
