About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR & Recruitment Specialist to join our team in the construction sector. The ideal candidate must have a background in construction or oil & gas industries and be skilled in managing the full HR and recruitment cycle for both skilled and unskilled workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for skilled and unskilled workers
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with local labor laws
- Prepare and update job descriptions for all positions
- Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new employees
- Handle employee relations issues professionally and confidentially
- Conduct interviews and assessments for technical and non-technical roles
- Maintain recruitment documentation and prepare regular reports
- Travel for business trips as required for recruitment campaigns, interviews, site visits, and tracking workforce needs
- Coordinate and track recruitment activities, including scheduling, candidate pipelines, and status updates
- Support performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Kuwaiti labor regulations
Requirements:
- Must be currently residing in Kuwait and available for local hiring
- Minimum 5+ years of HR and recruitment experience, preferably in construction or oil & gas
- Proven ability to recruit both skilled and unskilled manpower
- Experience developing HR policies, procedures, and job descriptions
- Strong interviewing and assessment skills
- Willingness and ability to travel for recruitment trips, site visits, and workforce tracking
- Excellent communication, organizational, and tracking skills
- Exclamation Knowledge of Kuwaiti labor laws.
