About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic IT security team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in next-generation firewalls, perimeter security solutions, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS). You will be responsible for protecting our network infrastructure, implementing advanced security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage next-generation firewalls and perimeter security products.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VPN solutions for secure remote access.
Deploy, monitor, and fine-tune IPS solutions to detect and prevent threats.
Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure systems are secure and compliant.
Provide technical guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
3–10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering.
Strong knowledge of next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or equivalent).
Proven expertise in perimeter security products, VPN technologies, and IPS.
Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
Strong problem-solving and incident-handling skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, CEH, Palo Alto PCNSE) are a plus.
