SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE

Job Description:

The Social Media Executive is responsible for supporting the Social Media Manager in executing the social media strategies and its brands. This role involves creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, monitoring social media performance, and assisting in the implementation of campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement across all social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Scheduling:
    • Assist in creating engaging and visually appealing content (images, videos, reels, stories, etc.) for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
    • Schedule and publish posts.
    • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
    • Write compelling captions and hashtags to maximize reach and engagement.
    • Coordinate with the Social Media Leader on day-to-day tasks and execution.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
    • Engage with followers, influencers, and partners to build relationships and foster a positive online community.
    • Escalate customer inquiries or complaints to the appropriate team (e.g., customer service or sales) when necessary.
  • Campaign Execution:
    • Support the Social Media Leader in planning and executing social media campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and events.
    • Assist in creating campaign-specific content and ensuring timely delivery.
    • Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Trend Monitoring:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes.
    • Suggest innovative ideas for content and campaigns based on trending topics and industry best practices.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with the Social Media Leader, Graphic Designer, and E-Commerce Manager to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
    • Assist in coordinating social media efforts with in-store promotions, events, and e-commerce initiatives.
    • Contribute with creative ideas for social media strategies.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) and video editing skills are a plus
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creativity and innovation in content creation and execution
