Job Title: Admin GRD Officer (Government Relations Department)

Location: Kuwait

Department: Administration / Human Resources

Job Purpose:

- To ensure smooth and efficient handling of all governmental and administrative matters related to employee documentation, company licenses, and legal compliance. The Admin GRD Officer acts as a liaison between the company and Kuwait's governmental bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all visa and residency-related documentation for new hires, renewals, transfers, and cancellations in accordance with Kuwait labor law.
  • Liaise with ministries such as the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Labor, Immigration, Municipality, and Chamber of Commerce for required company and employee documentation.
  • Coordinate with PROs and legal consultants to ensure timely completion of all government-related transactions.
  • Handle the issuance, renewal, and cancellation of work permits, civil IDs, and health cards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all employee and company-related government documents (residency, passports, licenses, etc.).
  • Monitor expiration dates of important documents and ensure timely renewal (e.g., residencies, company licenses, commercial registrations).
  • Support employees in resolving issues related to residency, visa status, and government procedures.
  • Prepare and submit government forms and reports as required by local laws and regulations.
  • Stay up to date with changes in Kuwaiti labor laws, immigration rules, and public authority procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar GRD/Admin role in Kuwait (typically 2–5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law, immigration procedures, and other governmental regulations.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management tools.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).

Additional Notes:

  • A valid Kuwait driving license is often preferred.
  • Visa must be transferable.
  • Bilingual.
